The chair works great on uneven surfaces and grass. Wish I had a extra battery while the other is charging. Other then that the chair is Great.

There is a lot of power in this little chair. The arms are super strong and support my entire weight when I get in or have to get out as my legs have little to no power. Today I took this chair across my backyard and it didn't lose any power at all. Very comfortable as well.
I would Also like to mention that the customer service is superb! Originally I bought another chair and it was much too heavy. Although I had to pay return shipping, they were great about issuing a label for me to return and my refund was issued within one day of them receiving the chair back. The company is wonderful to do business with. Love my new chair.

I just got my husband's motorized wheelchair and he loves it. He's getting around really well in the house and we have carpet in both rooms.

I love my Verpal wheelchair. I am 72 and have permanent knee damage that prevents me from walking long distances even with a walker. I bought it for a cruise and extended stay in Florida. On the boat I used it when I had a bad knee day. But it was essential when getting offshore on six islands. It allowed me to traverse the lengthy distance on the dock and to travel almost anywhere. It managed on rough surfaces and steering was great. It was a bit difficult to maneuver on slanted surfaces and steep ramps going up. In those situations it climbed up but the front wheels lifted off the ground. It never came close to tipping but my wife stayed behind me to make sure.
The battery usually had plenty of power although it still hasn’t completely charged as the instructions promised. I am not sure if it is defective. It came with a back seat cover missing which I need to address with the company.
Its weight is a huge positive feature. It folds into a small package that can easily be lifted and put in your car. I never had a problem with public transport. It can navigate on grass and bumpy surfaces.
I was constantly stopped by people asking where got it and saying they have never seen such a small chair. I weigh 165 lbs and am 5 feet nine. It’s is a small chair and may not be suitable for tall persons. I also wouldn’t recommend it on travel for older persons because you have to be on top of the surfaces and ramps. But it would probably be ideal for older persons for domestic situations.
Carbon giber is definitely the way to go.

Bought this chair for my 89 year old mother who is suffering from severe rheumatoid arthritis that has her unable to walk and barely stand. For an indoor wheelchair this thing does the job. The maneuverability is great to get around things in the house. The chair comes completely assembled withe the exception of the arm rest and controller. Battery life seems efficient. The quality of the product actually is surprisingly good for the money. Well worth it for a indoor wheelchair. I would definitely buy it again. Very easy for Mom to operate.

The primary reason for buying this chair over other "power chairs" is its light weight. 30 pounds with the battery is pretty good and makes my (the caregiver) life so much easier loading and unloading when going places.

That said, there are a couple things. First, the right motor has a little bit of play in it, allowing the chair to move about 3/4 of an inch, while the left motor allows no movement at all.

The other thing is sometimes, the chair will not turn on. The only "fix" we have found is to press the battery level check button on the battery. Unfortunately, my patient cannot reach that button and would be stranded if the malfunction occurred when I am not there.

We would like to obtain a second battery so as to have one fully charged while we use the other, but we cannot find one on the site.

The chair is really a heavy duty quality product with every feature you want including the bags on each arm rest.
